It never happened with me before that I was so much desperate to celebrate Dashain with my family together, which is Hindu’s biggest festival. It’s about one month far from today’s date and I am already started missing that day to be with my family, together with my mom, dad, brothers, sister and sister in law.

It’s believed that taking tika and blessings from elders will fill strength in life. And this is what and why it’s a biggest festival and a biggest culture in Nepal. In this day we put tika from elders hand and accept the blessings.

Not only that, this is a festival of celebrating freedom and even the festival of foods too. In this day especially in Newari culture and family we cook different types of foods and enjoy eating all that together with all the family members.
