Building a Dream, The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy

It’s not the unknown name. I know, most of you people know about her. Yes I am talking about Oprah Winfrey and I guess most of the people love to see her show in television. Even I have heard and knew about her but never watched her video because I was in Nepal and the channel was the unavailable in my cable network.

Today, I saw the quite small documentary about her and her “The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy.” I was really amazed to know so much from that documentary show. It was kind of heart touching one. The main focus of the academy was to provide good and quality education to the poor female students. They are focusing on girls only. As I knew and learnt from that show.

I watched the interviews taken with all the girls to get a chance to study in that academy. And every girl’s story was so much strange and pitiful. It was like I am in some another world where so much pains and hard days are available. It was the students of South Africa. All those applicable and capable student’s words were touching me. They were small in age but still they were with a good power and like they have some extra will to live life and to do something though they have experienced so much bad days in their life. Some were very very poor, some were without parents, some were like….anyways….its difficult to explain all this things.

I am really inspired from Oprah Winfrey this time. Actually, I have known her from long time ago but never went so deep with her shows and social works.

If you get a chance to see the show again about her leadership academy then don’t miss the chance. I guarantee that you are also gonna lost while watching this show. I salute Oprah Winfrey for her work and her great social thoughts. She wants to promote the females to develop South Africa and I wish her a best of luck.
