It was the best nights when everyone of us were in a high mood with Chinese brandies and with some puffs of weeds which normally people calls booze. I was living in the Bhanja’s home instead of living in hotel this time paying Nrs. 400 a night.
I met the Bhanjas’ in Kalanki and walked to their house which was just opposite to Khashi Bazaar (Goat Market), from where the SUMO and KIA vehicles run from Kathmandu to out of the valley.
Instead of paying to Hotel owners, I preferred to expense my money to the good nights with Bhanjas’ and friends. We went to Thamel and every night we used to have the Chinese Brandies and Beers before sleeping except the previous night of my Medical Check up for my education visa.
What I found interesting is the price rate/tag for the same brandy was different in all the shops of different places. In Thamel the retail price was NRs. 150/- , in Kalanki it was NRs. 130/-, whereas in Baneshwor it was only Nrs. 110/- but let me make you know that the wholesale price is only NRs. 80/- per bottle.
The brandies were like made for us and the beautiful nights passed with high moods. It was memorable and ofcourse never get back nights again. If need fun, contact me buddies, I will make a memorable nights of a life for you too.
