Gmail increases spam by selling email address

I have been using my hotmail and yahoo since 5 years and it’s pretty good and familiar to me. Whereas Gmail is a very new and the latest free email service provider and its quite effective too. According to performance, Gmail is equal to hotmail and yahoo. Infact Gmail is a fast growing email service and everyone these days probably loves to use Gmail.

Gmail Logo Most of the freelancers and businessman and other internet users loves to use gmail rather than hotmail and yahoo these days. May be this is because Gmail is quick fast easy and comfortable too. But had anyone noticed that Gmail offers spam?

This is my own thought, and I might be wrong but I won’t stop to speak what I feel and what my brain thinks.

My past experience with hotmail and yahoo is quite long where I am equally satisfied from their services but Gmail is something that I am using around since 12 -18 months. And I can figure out that Gmail contains a large number of spam emails. If you don’t believe watch out your Gmail account and check the spam box over there and compare them with hotmail and yahoo.

These days I don’t get much junk/spam/bulk emails in my hotmail and yahoo but I do get them in Gmail. Everyday around 50-80 spam emails are sent to me by third party companies. And this makes me think that Gmail sells our emails and supports spammer to increase the spam. Gmail is such a big service provided by Google and they are not working over spamming, isn’t this something ridiculous?

By the way, do you know that many website who asks our email address sells our email address? People get good money for selling big amount of email address too. So, never leave your email address wherever you want. Otherwise, you will be the next target of the cruel spammers.

I hope Gmail or Google is reading this article and will start working on their spam protection service too because I don’t want to stop using Gmail because the rest half of it is far better than hotmail or yahoo. Gmail offers chatbox in the side column of the inbox which is really a cool. We can check mail and chat in the same webpage.

i´ve used yahoo mail for about 10 years, it was enough but slow, and i had so much spam maybe more than i have now with gmail.

so if i have to choose i choose the reliable mail without colorful marketing invaded like msn or yahoo

Hey Its not like that you will not receive your spam in your Yahoo! or MSN inbox. If by chance you list your email somewhere on the webpage. Spammers tries to harvest many emails from the webpage and start emailing you. It is better if you give your email address on any webpage with a break example : yourname {at] somedomain.com (Replace {at] with @) or leave your email image on the page if allowed.

I have been using GMAIL for 1.5 years .I too had realised that gmail is increasing spam mail day by day.good to hear this in news in public blog.Let’s hope google will be aware of it.
