As I said, yesterday I was out of my valley, my twon, my city. I was on the pre-planned picnic. The spot was Srinagar Dada (mountain), Palpa. We were 11 guys, only guys not a single girl and a driver and a helper of the Kia vehicle. We reserved the Kia for Nrs. 2000/- and made our journey to Srinagar at about 8am morning.
It was really a day for fun. I wasn’t out of valley since 2 months and finally yesterday it was the day that I walked quite far from my hometown. I really love enjoying and traveling. I was full of energetic whereas other friends were also chilling and very much interested to reach to the spot and cook foods haha.
But the unthinkable thing happened on the way. The breaks of our vehicle got a problem and the vehicle driver and helper tried to fix the problem but failed to make fix it. So, we took a risk to go ahead in the same condition. We dared to take the risk which made quite unusual trip because we have to go through the dangerous mountainous way where one side of the road is a deep river.
Finally we reached to the spot and made driver to go to mechanics and fix that break problem. And then we started carrying waters, washing the plates and spoons just for a hygienic. The fun was while washing the utensils haha and carrying water, god..the tap was so small.
The bigger problem was of a fire. No one was perfect on cooking neither in firing a fire but anyhow we managed it just by using kerosene oil. Everyone was a guy who never cooks in home but is trying in the picnic. I did fire the woods, made small tomatoes pieces and started cooking.
About photography wow, it was the funniest part of the picnic. We did shot so many snaps in so much of different pose and styles. Some time we used to jump and some time we act like fighting to eachother.
You guys might not believe me, but it’s true. The food was ready at about 6 pm, hahaha but still there was fun which made us feel nothing like hungry. There was Pulau, Chicken, Chukauni, Aalu ko tarkari, ofcourse Raskshi (alcohol, wine) also. How a guys’ party or a picnic could be planned without these wines, alcohols? There was a brandy too which we finished before the food was ready. We ate nothing except breads at the morning but a brandy. Hahaha.
And at about 9 pm we walked back to the hometown but again something started giving problem in vehicle which made everyone of us walk to about 1 km barefoot. Isn’t this was so funny again…as if we are paying a fines.
Eventually, Due to this picnic, I missed Indian Idol show but who cares, I got the day. I got the moment to recall with my friends. I got the images to cherish. I suggest you also to go for a picnic regularly. I Will post the pictures of my picnic very soon. Remember, some parts or phrases are not suitable to write here, so i haven’t written all here but it was very much fun when all the guys were drunk.
Ofcourse the day ended with a happy Picnic.
