I don’t know, may be I am wrong but still I have rights to speak out and to keep my words infront of whole world. I have been watching all the Indian Idol series 1, 2 and now 3 and all of the series was a great and well responded by the viewers including me too. There is something different craze for Indian Idol as Indian Idol is a great platform for any dreamers and ofcourse a location of every teen’s heart beats.
But this time it’s something different, in this series there is a Nepal origin contestant Prashant Tamang in final round as one of the top 2 tag holder and what I feel and see is Sony Channels are playing a game to defeat Prashant Tamang by their so called lead hero Amit Paul.
Yes, I know that the quality and deserving contestant should win the race and should be an Indian Idol but this doesn’t mean that someone should be treated physiologically way. All the judges says that Prashant is average and Amit Paul is great. Even being a Nepali Udit Narayan Jha fucks to support our Darjeelingey Prashant Tamang, but why? Just because he is untrained contestant? Well, what I know is, if he sings so well without untrained voice then how will he be singing after getting a complete training?
If Prashant Tamang was so bad singer or if he sings so bad then why did all the judges selected him in Top 10? Here comes my first question for all the viewers and anti Prashant Tamang Fan and to Sony Channel.
If Sony channel respects the Police force of India and if they hadn’t forgotten that they were rescued by the help of Bir Gorkhali Army Force in the past when they were under control by British then why did they made Prashant Tamang dress a normal Hawaldar Dress? Is that a fun? Did they felt something funny by pinching whole nepal and Nepalese? Don’t you think that this was a bad? Had they forgotten that some Indians comes nepal to sell Chatar Patar and to exhange useless irons and steels?
Sony Channel made Amit Paul to sing in Nepali language once, but why? Isn’t that a trick to get some Nepali Votes? I think they fear of Prashant Tamang’s fans and want to get some votes that usually go to Prashant Tamang.
I want to ask all the viewers, did Sony Channel focused the camera on Prashant Tamang perfectly in comparison to Meiyang Chang, Emon Chatterjee and Amit Paul and Ankita Mishra?? What I know is I got to see Prashant Tamang only when his turn used to come to sing and perform in the stage.
And right yesterday’s show, all the top 3 contestants made a tour to their home where Amit was in Shillong also and some other places also though he is not originally from Shillong, actually he is from Meghalaya. Do you know even Shillong has a tons of Nepalese Population? They just want to get attention for Amit Paul and collect some votes for Amit Paul by Prashant Tamang’s fan.
One more plus point: Prashant is selected directly to Top 10 and never been voted out whereas Amit Paul along with Ankita Mishra was voted out and got next entry through wild card. This strategy shows that, Indian Idol has planned Amit Paul to make Indian Idol from the beginning and promoting/focusing him in an as much as possible way.
I hope after reading this article atleast some good human being people will think about this and will vote for the respective deserving contestant. What I don’t want to talk is racial bias and rests of the decisions are all over you guys. You guys have a brain and rights on your votes so do your best, select your best and make a deserving one a next Indian Idol.
