prashant_tamang_indianidol3Prashant Tamang, unbeatable contestant till date in Indian Idol series 3. he is a high profile and a record holder for highest votes in Indian Idol history too. He is Police from profession and a singer from hobby.

He is from Darjeeling, a cool city. It used to be a part of Nepal before but because of some bad treaty by East India Company (British) in past history it is now India’s part. He gets lakhs of votes from his own city Darjeeling and from other near cities like Sikkim, etc.

His father was an Indian Police officer and because of his father’s death he got a replacement job as a police officer in Calcutta police and he joined the orchestra group there. And because of his own talent and his senior officers and friend’s support he is now in a stage of Indian idol. He is now among top 5 contestants and everyone hopes that he is the next Indian idol. He gets uncountable votes from police officers and armies of whole India because of his own profession.

He is a Nepali origin and because of this he gets tons of votes from Nepal’s citizen too. Nepal’s citizen goes to India border sides and even to Darjeeling too, just to vote Prashant Tamang. Though he lives in India, he is Nepali and even he himself said that he is Nepali and loves his Nepal though he works as a police officer for India in India.

There is no boundary for music and life in this world. He is an example of talent too. He has taken no professional trainings for singing. He has his own talent. He sings with his own style in his own way.

He has a great female fan follower too. I have one real experience. I am an admin of this blogsite. One of the visitors added me in her gmail contact list thinking that I am Prashant Tamang. Isn’t this something great news for Prashant Tamang?

Every Nepali and all your fans including police officers and armies of India wants to see Prashant Tamang as a next Indian Idol. If he wins, it’s a pride for Nepali too and for all the police and armies of India too.

    history is proof that india was ruled by someone…but not nepal and the gurkhas.

    and one more fact, in this world no one loves indian except themselves. i am from australia and believe me, may be u will find harder to understand or to take it easy but its true that all the aussies including newzealanders and brazilians, perus, cheqs, etc..everyone hates indian. no one gives them job, indian gets only few jobs and that also only in some indian owned shops.

    so try to respect someone , never underestimate anyone.

Prashant is the best with a brilleant voice,whose voice touch the people heart, soo unique voice, he is the first indian idol who share the trophy with his competitor, he is the idol who score highest vote from all type people from high level to low class, he is the ist idol who didnot forget to thanked to his judges/ well wisher of the world as well as Indian Idol team, he is the first idol who made world tour while in contract with Soney. so every body try to accept the fact, which can not remove.

    I like his album, the song ” Asarai Maina” so tourhable to the heart.
    wish him a brightful future with a beautiful lifepartner from his own hometown Darjeeling, who gaves him the step by step help to reach in the position. He shouldn’t forget Darjeeling.

  8. Prashant Tamang is such a talented and humble guy and there is no word to describe him. When he was in Australia he visited to the Sagarmatha Nepali Restaurant and he was loved by everyone. Amit Paul is good but Prasant Tamang is the best….Now its the time you need to accept the reality………..make sure you save enough money to give 3000 votes against nepali…..Just becoz you think Amit is better does not mean that you have to insult Prashant’s voice. everybody is entitled to their own opinion and it’s best if you keep it to yourself if it displeases most people. …good luck Russell……

    Hi Russell, I know this is a free country but saying that you shouldn’t make comment like that. P Taming won with majority of votes we all know that but what your comment shows that is, how low you are (only yourself) if we compare among all the Asian people living in the Uk. If you keep thinking like that we Asian people never going to deserve the reward we work for. I know lots of Bengali friends and they are my good friends and always will be. I listen to S Ghosal song every day (Isn’t she from Bengal???). Please don’t try to spoil Bengali Name. Don’t be narrrrrooooow minded be wiser and try to understand other people. Lastly don’t forget Nepal and India share the same culture, value, free border, language not much different. Other example Look what Udit Narayan Zaa and his family achieved, they are all from Nepal.

It is really nice see this guy….. smiling his way to Indian Idol title….. as mentioned by many in this site…yes he is hot favorite and the kind of votes he gets is unbelievable…….Nearly a thousand votes is sent from my family (include 200 from me)……..I am an Indian Nepali living in Kolkata……..yes this guy has actually revived the solidarity amongst the Nepali people throughout the globe (leave alone Indian Nepalese).

    If Shilpa Shetty can win UK Big Brother…….am sure Prashant can be our next Indian Idol.

    And it is not only the matter of being from the region……the guy really sings from his heart……for an untrained voice……he is wonderful.

    Now next week I am off to Sydney…..I am already worried who is going to send that 200 votes on my behalf…..more than the preparation for the presentation that I am going to make………

    Guys…..honest request to all who’ll read this…..vote for Prashant……we need to prove

    - into flesh business…..

    there is so much talent and capability in us……..only if we get……”the opportunity”.
