Fashion Bazaar 2007

It was around 6 pm that I went yesterday to the venue Kanti Madhyamik Vidhyala, ofcourse it’s a school ground valid for shows, concerts, programs and public appearances. Mr. Nabin K. Bhattarai was invited as a singer guest and the models and dress designers were the main glance for the whole entire show FASHION BAZZAR 2007 including some local musical bands. Program was held in Butwal. The show was presented by SAFT (School of Arts and Fashion Technology).

The crowd was getting hot as the skirts of beautiful girls who were more beautiful, sizzling and sexy than models. Actually I myself felt this because I am young, I can feel the crowd, I was one of the viewers of the show and more over I have already participated many fashion shows as model. I am 5’10 with average body. This time I didn’t grabbed the opportunities whereas my friends were there in the stage floor.

Stage was great with models, bands, singers and ofcourse I cannot forget the Bhairahawa girls, their dance was outstanding, they we permorning like Shakira’s hips and Jennifer’s moves. Really their dance was sizzling and sexy. I was never known that the girls of Bhairahawa are so hot hot and hot. And about bands, I felt that among the other bands the “GROUND LEVEL ZERO” was the outstanding performer. Point to be noted, they were my friends. Haha. But I am talking professionally. The vocalist of the band Mr. Janak M.C. wasn’t satisfied with public support. He was complaining that “aafno kamai kei chaina, aafai ghar maa basera practice garera, dukha garera sikeko kuraa yehaa dekhaudaa darshak ko support chaina.” He was just speechless after that. And I think it’s the fact in Nepal. We people give no courage to local bands. Why so? Atleast we should courage them though we cannot help them grow.

Lets come to the main point, I know its not good to say that show was not as I thought, but who cares, if organizers are feeling that the show is fine then what can we say to other? But if someone ask me about the show then I truly speak,” show was not about fashion, it was more concerned about dance and music only.” It’s a flop show. The previous show was much better than this one. Everything became wrong in yesterdays show, and that what I say. They started late, and I was home at around 11 pm with hungry stomach. There were no good facilities of foods neither of water. It wasn’t like a fashion show. It was like some different type of show where models were also presented, where singers, bands and dancers also were presented but focused on none of them.

Miss. Mona Shrestha, was the only host who was caring to the whole entire shows but even she got some problems with public. She challenged some viewer to come upto stage and talk as her. And I think that’s not a good attitude. People should be professional. That’s what I know. There was Mr. Basant Shrestha as a music arranger, he was really rocking the public from his good collections. Atleast music kept all the people to feel that they are in some kind of show.

Eventually, at around 11 pm I got back to my home, without finished show. I just left the show and walked to my home. Actually, I got a call from my mom and I don’t want to get bad words from her. Haha. Maarnu huncha malai. Hahha.
